Cathy completed her Certificate IV in Property Operations some 22 years ago. She is a “Life Member” of the SCA (Qld) and has has served many years on the Board of SCA Qld (Strata Community Association Queensland).

Cathy spent over 15 years of service to SCA Qld assisting in the education and continuing professional development of SCA members being part of the SCA Qld education committee as well as delivering and assessing the Certificate IV in Property Operations to its Qld Members for 8 years.

Cathy’s enthusiastic attitude towards the industry benefited all her students and she is highly regarded by them for her knowledge and passion for the role of a Body Corporate Manager.

Being a member and strong advocate of the SCA (Qld) is very important as they are always abreast of Body Corporate legislation changes, law tribunals and appeals, and dispute resolutions affecting bodies corporate through the Commissioner’s Office. The SCA has a close liaison with Resident Unit Managers Association, Unit Owners Association and unit owners in general.
